The P-37 Tridents Star is a ASW/Maritime Patrol Aircraft designed to attack shipping and Submarines. She was designed to replace the aging B-8N Reliants as a Development of the B-9. Only 25 were produced as soon as the first batch was completed the B-9A-2 was produced and these were obsolete, but they were assigned to VP-141 the “Morning Stars”. She was retired soon after and most were scrapped but a few were saved for museums.
