Large propeller powered airliner based on the ML-347 Atlas

Controls:

The recommended takeoff configuration is to apply 50% flaps, and full nose up trim. (And AG2 lights for looks) If you do nothing the nose will start to come up at around 140MPH, and lift clear at around 160-170MPH. I like to pitch the nose down during my takeoff roll until I reach takeoff speed, but that's up to you. Once in the air, reset trim to neutral at around 190MPH, and retract flaps at around 220-240MPH.

For landing, make your approach at around 180MPH, with full flaps down and full nose up trim. Keep the throttle between 30% and 60% depending on how steep your glide slope is. As you get close you can slow to about 160MPH and flare for landing.

I built this as a sort of developmental outgrowth of the Atlas, intended as a land based variant of it. Of course, once I got in to it, reworking the wing and fuselage to make sense without the lower boat hull just sort of ballooned in to a mostly new aircraft. Kept the upper nose, cockpit, and engine configuration, but I've altered the tail and fuselage geometry, and the wing is an entirely new creation. Tried some things that didn't ultimately work out on this as well or changed because I didn't like it. I had lofty plans for the custom landing gear to have a working suspension and have the bogies articulating. Which were subsequently dashed when tests showed that the rather hefty weight of the Condor made multiple attempts at such landing gear explode or otherwise collapse. (Probably could've XMLed my way to a lighter plane, but I like having one that flies like it has some weight to it...) Originally had the flaps be integrated as a control surface of the wing, but having rotators do it just seems better. They move in a slow mechanical pace, and add drag as well as lift which is nice for landing. (And more like real flaps) Might make a cargo variant with an opening nose later to justify having the cockpit still in a "hump" like on the Atlas. I'll have to see how this one does...
