F-8H Crusader Philippine Airforce
During the late 70's the People's Republic of China began arresting control over the contested spratly islands, in order to help defend the Philippines territorial claims the Philippine government decided to purchase 34 F-8 Crusaders along with the already in service F-5E's to replace their old fleet of F-86 sabres. After just 9 years of service the airframes were retired due to the expensive maintainence required, the remaining airframes were rendered permanently unusable after the mount pinatubo eruption, the airframes were then sold as scrap.
Controls are AG 1- Arresting hook AG 3- Lights AG 5- ejection seat AG 6- Variable Incident Wings AG 7- Foldable wings.
Armament- ×4 20mm canons 144 rounds each, ×2 Rocket pods 7 rockets each, and ×4 AIM-9 sidewinders
This is a low quality build, granted with some XML magic, the aircraft isn't that maneuverable but it helps to use the flaps. the scheme depicts an F-8H of the 7th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Bulldogs" circa 1980's-ish Basa AFB.
