RJ-Republic P-52 Thundercat 6.9
Introduction
During WWII a number of twin engine heavy fighters where conceived and built, some with great success, some not so... Now what i fancied was combining a number of successful aircraft into one new fictional aircraft. So I used the basic layout of the F7 Tigercat, the rough wing layout of the P-47 Thunderbolt, the tail of a Bearcat, the fin of a P-51 Mustang and a load of other bits and pieces (so if you think you recognise some bits, you probably do).
Controls
AG1=turns the engines onto tick-over (ignition switch and fuel levers, thanks to JamesPLANESii for the funky gubbins)
AG2=opens the cockpit
Throttle=throttle from 5% to 100% (first 5% is taken up with AG1 tickover, thanks to JamesPLANESii for the funky gubbins)
VTOL dn=flaps down (including flap lever in cockpit)

Notes
To start with, thanks to Jamesplanesii for letting me aquire some of his funky magic and a couple of dials. I have to think that this is probably my most detailed build, the cockpit alone took ages, i started the build in February but kept shelving it due to the time it was needing, but hey, COVID has its uses. I think that it turned out nice, there are some bits i would build differently if i started again but as usual they where too embeded in the design to change by the time i twigged about them. I tried to keep the flight model somewhat realistic but still fun, it accelerates a bit quick mid-late takeoff run but i was overall happy with it. Have fun

@BogdanX thanks, I will use this. With the surface fighting I tend to add another panel especially if I'm camouflageing the plane as nudging the lower panels, even slightly, can affect the leading edge etc. Thanks again for the code.
@BogdanX Thanks Bogdan, when you commented about the rear wheel being visible through the fuselage once retracted and yaw applied, is there a way to stop this? It happens on most of my builds... The surface fighting on control surfaces was my bad, i know how to fix that =) Just trying to improve still.
@ChiChiWerx it is, wow, you really worked on this one and I'm amazed at your build rate. My builds are a little more than half as many parts and it takes me months, not weeks to put them together!
@ChiChiWerx it works fine on my android device :) I'm sure yours will be fine...
Geez, at 1,400 plus parts, I’m afraid to try and fly it.
@RamboJutter it's a well-known fact that moderators can use magic :)
@EternalDarkness thanks, didn't know you could do that.
I made it a successor.
@RamboJutter do you want me to make it a successor to the challenge? It only takes me half a minute or so.
@EternalDarkness thanks, i was going to but then i realised i hadnt built it from his download and i couldnt be fussed with all the re-tweaking of colours etc... theres always next time =)
nice job
Oh, nice!
It's not every day one sees an interior on a Rambo build. Why not enter it into BogdanX's Pacific theatre challenge?
I like the interior it Handel’s really nice too
