3.5 years ago
A (fictional) low cost fighter/interceptor designed to fight against slow moving aircraft at medium to high altitude. Using a push-pull configuration for low drag and high power output. Can climb and maitain its speed up to and around 70 degrees. Capable of maintaining over 330kts in a horizontal turn. Because of its low production standards to keep cost to a minimum the aircraft suffers from wing bending, which causes some pitch instablity. Designed in the 90's by a multinational program in south-east Asia to be mass produced to, if need be, counter a Chinese military expantion. Because of its simplicity, it does not have a RADAR, relying of AWACS to help track and engage enemy aircraft.
