Catalina
Hi guys this is my attempt at creating a Catalina, it really went way past the parts count I anticipated. It’s a little rough in some areas I rushed the finish trying to keep the parts count down. I would of also made a cockpit if the parts weren’t so high. It’s not completely accurate but I think it’s pretty good.
Has custom landing gear,
AG3 for landing gear, also since I made this on iPhone I couldn’t modify the front landing gear to be strong enough. So there’s a stock gear in front too, you’ll need to use AG3 and landing gear buttons both sorry.
VTOL neutral to top for the wing floats.
Takeoff speed is recommended around 140 mph
This lands on water, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get it’s fat ass to take off of water.
8 rockets and 6 torpedoes.
Thank you to @Atgxtg for the modified T2000’s

Cheers mate! @Mustang51
It isn't the most accurate of Catalina models I have seen but it's pretty damn near close to it. Wonderful job mate
What a fluke on that prop accuracy hahah @atgxtg
@Rub3n213 So that's what you wanted 170'' blades for! Nice. It looks like the PBY, which is known as the Catalina, Canso, Cat, Black Cat, Mad Cat, Dumbo, MOP, Y-Boat, Pig Boat. If you want the speficics for it try: http://pbycatalina.com/specifications/
which has just about everything, right down to the 169" props.
Not sure, i’m not familiar with this planes specifics @diegoavion84
This is a PBY Canso? (for the cabin)
Thanks guys! The main body is a little squashed I first started trying to make it with a cavity for a cockpit
You pretty much nailed the shape
i think you did a great job! theres some things you could polish up but its actually a very nice build!
