Earwig

480 AMPPL50  1.2 years ago

The Earwig is the most typical Fortian aircraft. It's a light bomber/attack aircraft capable of staying aloft for long periods of time. It's twin booms and engines provide it redundancy in case of battle damage. The main applications are in border patrol, quelling slave uprisings and monitoring facilities where they work in large numbers. It's also often used to provide air support in raids against communities beyond the borders. The name comes from it's armament: both front and rear guns can be pivoted so the plane can use it's machine guns to strafe at shallower angles. These guns are all usually .30 caliber MGs.
