Some History: I-15 "fighter fifteenth" "light maneuverable" (nickname "Chato" Spanish-"snub") — Soviet single-engine fighter-polutoraplan, created in 1933 in the Design team ? 2 TSKB-39 under the leadership of the Soviet aircraft designer Nikolai Polikarpov. First took off in the autumn of 1933 (October). It was mass-produced since 1934. He was in service with the flight units Of the air force of the Workers 'and peasants' red Army since 1935.
