Gibson "Flying" V

60.4k PapaKernels  3.7 years ago

the photo im using is tall not wide, woops.

history

(Taken from wiki because I'm a noob when it comes to guitars)
The Gibson Flying V is an electric guitar model introduced by Gibson in 1958. The Flying V offered a radical, "futuristic" body design, much like its siblings: the Explorer, which was released the same year and the Moderne, which was designed in 1957 but not released until 1982. The initial run of guitars used a distinctive wood of the Limba tree marketed by Gibson under the trade name "korina"; later models used more conventional woods.

What happens when you attempt to land on beast....

*may be wrong, dont remember to much of the history of metal, all I know is it started in '69 apparently.

builders note: I may or may not have forgotten about the strap knob, only one is supposed to be on the base of the body and it's on the left, oh well, just a small detail. I tried to get it as close to the real one as I could, I did mess up on the neck, I would fix it but it took me so long to get the neck details right (I'm sorry I dont know what those lines are that go across the neck), and as I said before yaw is just a big no, dont even look at it.

Needs a much better thumbnail, performance could use some work. Nice aesthetics and overall meme though.
