The first Paternian-designed main battle tank, it was concieved as a highly-mobile and well-armed platform with sufficient armor to resist a 30mm autocannon. Armed with either a 90mm M3 railgun 105mm M4 coilgun, it had a good combination of firepower and mobility, and was unique that it was amphibious. It served well in many of Paternia's smaller conflicts, and has seen many upgrades in the process. This example is fitted with a 120mm M5A1 coilgun. Its last use as a proper gun tank was during the Great World War 2, with mixed results. In India, many of these vehicles were destroyed easily, their thin amror a liability against machines such as the Suleimani. However, in the Hainan Island, the Southern China Offensive and Guadalcanal campaigns, their high mobility and amphibious ability made them incredibly useful in launching surprise attacks. While it would be quickly replaced by M6 Ardent main battle tanks and M8 General Burns light tanks as gun tanks, the chassis proved highly adaptable, forming the basis of armored personnel carriers, armored recovery vehicles, infantry fighting vehicles, and self-propelled artillery.

Murder of all kinds, rape, robbery, human trafficking, scamming, corruption, bribery of a government official or employee, espionage, extortion, kidnapping, and the sort are all punished severely, usually with long prison times. While all are still technically punishable by death, after the controversial case of Albert Voss in 1981, a man convicted of robbery, extortion, and corruption; was executed, and later proven innocent due to investigation misconduct and a potential conspiracy (the offending lead investigator has committed suicide by this point), the death penalty has never been used again.
However, in military courts and areas under martial law, death penalty for these crimes are still employed, and is administered by a execution by firing squad or if the commanding officer so chooses, execution by personal sidearm of the commanding officer. Where the former is conducted in both formal trials and in the field, the latter is almost exclusively done in the field. Depending on circumstances, it may be public or private.
Lt. Valerie Vickers refers to this in a story. A sergeant of the Air Force security unit had apparently raped a civilian contractor on the base. By now, she was in command of the whole unit due to the absence of the security unit's CO due to illness. The sergeant was convicted of rape by the military courts, and was scheduled to be executed by firing squad in a few days, so as to assemble a squad of soldiers to conduct it. However when Lt. Vickers sought personnel for the firing squad, all were willing to do so, but were reluctant, as they felt he was innocent.
She decided to spare them any guilt and when it came to execute him, she took it upon himself. However, just as she was about to pull the trigger on her revolver, a messenger arrived and told her that the victim had confessed that she had doubts whether it was actually him. She decided to restart the investigation, and in the new investigation, found that it was a civilian man from the adjacent village. That man was arrested and the case handed over to the civilian authorities, of which she believes the civilian was in fact guilty and was jailed for life.

Front hull and turret front and sides: Resistant to 30mm APFSDS from M9 at 100m.
Sides and rear of turret: Resistant to 20mm APFSDS from M6/M10 at 100m.
Rear: Resistant to 12.7mm APDS from M26 at 100m.
It's basically an amphibous Leopard 1. It was designed under the philosophy that given the progression of anti-armor weapons, heavy armor would be useless and simply slow down the vehicle. However, as we know, the armor meta is still very relevant, and thus the Victoria was developed to address this shortcoming.

Although there is a British tank known as 17pdr SP, A30 (Avenger); which was a variant of the Cruiser Mk VIII Challenger, which differed by having a lower-profile open-topped turret.
Both vehicles were armed with the 17pdr antitank gun (which also graced conversions of Lend-Lease M4 Sherman [Sherman I-V] and M10 tank destroyer [3-inch SP Achilles I-II], which were known as Sherman I-VC and 17pdr SP Achilles I-IIC) and whose hulls were identical, based off the successful Cromwell cruiser tank.
Yes, I know lots about tanks. Yes, I play World of Tanks and War Thunder. Well, used to play War Thunder. Because although Wargaming has made questionable decisions in the past, at least they eventually admit that they're bad decisions. And Gaijin has acted in ways so abhorrent that they make EA look good.

This tank originally had nudged rocket pods for the gun. But soon, through looking at other designs, found out how to put a 4-shot bomb launcher on this thing.
