Mk 2 Shotgun
The Mk 1 Shotgun was very successful in its own right, but due to its short barrel length and pistol grip only stock, it had a viscious recoil and was useless beyond 20 meters, and was thus deemed suitable only for door breaching purposes. A more versatile shotgun was requested, and the Mk 2 was developed. It incorporates a smoother slide action, longer barrel, increased magazine capacity. The receiver has been strengthened to accept longer and more powerful shotgun shells. However, it can still use the older, lower-powered shells the Mk 1 was issued with, Picatinny rail atop the receiver, and the ability to accept a bayonet and tactical flashlight. The buttstock allows greater controllability, extending its range out to 100 yards. This weapon was particularly useful in close combat due to its high hit probability. They were issued to guards, rangers, riot troops, combat engineers, and squad leaders. Vehicle crews were still issued the Mk 1 shotgun due to its smaller size.

@Flash0of0green Then this gun is for you!
@SPS13 Sounds secure.
Well, I think the sheer fact that they are armed with Mini-14s.....I think they are well armed. @Pilotmario
@Flash0of0green Interesting...
Personally I prefer World War II trench shotgun one the ones with the the shell Magazine on the pump.
@SPS13 I see. But how about asset security? You know, from pesky thieves, sabotuers, and guerillas? They won't dare come close to your factories when your guards have these.
Actually, none......I am an owner of an aircraft manufacturer. The name of the company is SCRAM, we don't have any people needing weapons.....admittedly I will be purchasing one for myself. @Pilotmario
@SPS13 I am your arms supplier after all.
Say, how many of these guns would you like to order?
Welcome @Pilotmario
@SPS13 That was fast.
