Second version of the first aircraft of the Carreño Interceptor series. Mirage-inspired, Single engine, double intake, mid-delta wing, high speed interceptor and energy fighter. Featuring 2 fuel tanks mounted below the wings. Topspeed: 970 at 13k feet. High climb ability. Average turn rate. Incredible roll rate. Good energy retention. Landing speed: 170-200mph Note: this aircraft still a prototype. Known issues list showed below.KNOWN ISSUES: Too much roll rate: sustained rolls at mid-low speed causes stall spin (Fishbed syndrome) Super nose heavy: Nose will kick down at any speed. Needs pitch trim all the time. CAUTION: STALL SPINS ARE ALMOST IRRECUPERABLE. AVOID AT ALL COST. High G turns at low speeds causes stall spins. Aircraft are unstable at low speeds, avoid all tight maneuvers at low speeds. Engage airbrake causes Nose heavy effect. Careful when engage it
