Drasmall P-33 Pitviper MkI
In 1943 Drasmall Proposed a new aircraft by the middle of 1944 and plans were began instantly to build a top of the range fighter bomber the final plan was made and the construction was begun but on the 3rd of December 1943 in a bombing raid the factory went down in flames desperate tries to regain the construction of the new aircraft now named the XP-33A Pitviper were all failed although coming to the end of the war March the 12th 1945 the government gave them a new factory to continue building the XP-33A Pitviper, the first test aircraft was flown on the August the 3rd and flew with success the model was further developed into the P-33 Pitviper MkI but only flew 2 combat sorties and never flew again this is the only one left out of the ten that were made. in 1937 Drasmall Went out of business and was shut down there is now a museum in Australia commemorating Drasmall
