This is my flap system used in the N-212. It uses tension which expands the wing at low speeds. VTOL UP to enable. Warning: If a gearless landing or very hard landing, the tension can snap. No effects while landing except the wing retracts down. If the flap system is damaged before landing, don't use them or you will roll very bad.
