I made it too difficult for myself, and decided an actual plate for the clutch would be nicer. I'll add this to the pistons later, but for now I have a perfect setup to start adding gears this way.
Full throttle, then put the VTOL all the way up. To 'push the clutch pedal' VTOL all the way down, and to release all the way up again
Doesn't work 100% of the time. But I'm happy with the 90% it does work for now
