Pembroke B-138 buzzing bee
prop fans.... I'm becoming a fan of these things
history
In early 1979 the pembroke company decided to experiment with a prop fan bomber code named "project hornet". The aircraft would be approximately 209ft wide, 141ft long, and over 30ft tall and have 4 prop fan engines with 3 blades of various lengths, 2 in each wing. The success of the bomber was not as expected by the designers, as it was one of the fastest non jet bombers ever made, with its top speed of over 450mph. Take off is very short for an aircraft of this size, and can reach minimum takeoff speed in less than 10 seconds. Flaps are not necessary for this aircraft as the massive wings seemed to provide sufficient lift for landing and takeoff.

BUILDERS NOTE: this is one of my favorite bombers that I have made just because of how unique the idea of prop fans are, it's so cool to see them spool up and the different speeds that the fan have (to help vibrations as these aircraft have high vibration at high speed). Hope you like it! I wish I could have added more bombs but even with that it lagged my game out so much, I think it was averaging 10fps or so....
