The F-48 is a 4th generation jet fighter, similar to, for instance, the F-15 or the Mig-29 in design. It has a good amount of wing pylons where it can hold up to 12 missiles for various purposes, and still has space for extra armament or fuel tanks on the underside of the fuselage. In terms of maneuverability, many efforts, redesigns have been done, resulting in only slight but noticeable improvements in stability and turn rate.
