In 1945, Germany was desparate to win the war. It needed a miracle plane to do this. It developed a lightweight stealth figter with enough power to take out a small fleet. Because of setbacks developing the engines and frame, it never got off the ground. It was based on flying wing prototypes and painted without symbols to help deter detection. At the end of the war, allied troops found it in an abandoned hanger. One of them called it a 'squashed toad with wings'.
