The Rockwell X-30 was an advanced technology demonstrator designed for the National Aero-Space Plane, a single stage to orbit space-liner for the US. The program was cancelled in the 90's before a prototype could be built. This craft is able to hit 3000 mph, land safely, takeoff smoothly near the end of the runway, and reach 100,000 feet. Manuverability is pretty good for a lifting body, but it always tries to pitch up slightly when up to speed. Engine setup is designed to look like e the scramjet configuration on the "real" thing. This craft uses modded engines for higher speeds.
