*Soviet Air Defense Force Emblem

Don't call me 2B pencil, no allowed!

Sorry, this is Mig 21 (they look too similar).

This is Su 9:

After the Iron Curtain Speech, the original anti fascist alliance was completely shattered, marking the beginning of the Cold War. In the early stages of the Cold War, based on the principle of not having you being the most important to me, both sides were trying to find a way to wipe each other off Earth at once. In that era when missile technology was not yet mature enough, American strategic bombers quickly assembled like dumplings. As soon as the B36 entered service, new bombers began to be researched. And the Soviet Union... the Soviet Union only has Figure 4 (which is still a replica of B29).

The Soviet Union underestimated strategic bombers during World War II, and the Pe-8 bomber was even despised in the Soviet Union. This resulted in the Soviet Union having no effective means to attack the United States mainland, and American bombing posed a serious threat to the Soviet Union.

In order to prevent Moscow from becoming Hiroshima, the Soviet Air Defense Force was thus separated to protect the vast sky of the Soviet Union. However, the air defense forces have not yet developed a suitable interceptor, and the existing aircraft are not up to standard in terms of speed and altitude. So starting from 1954, Su Huoyi designed new interceptors. In the end, the T-3 test machine outperformed the T-5 test machine (because the T-5 test machine used both nose intake and dual engine, causing the airflow fork to malfunction). After modification, it became the current Su-9 and was delivered to the Air Force for use.

But when it entered service, it was not the B36 or other bombers waiting for it, but the U-2 reconnaissance plane. During the Cold War, the United States sent reconnaissance planes multiple times into Soviet airspace to film its secret military bases, and even Blackbird reconnaissance planes were designed for this purpose, leading to serious leakage of Soviet military secrets.

In May 1960, a U-2 reconnaissance plane habitually entered Soviet airspace, and in addition to a few MiG-19 planes, another Su-9 took off to intercept. However, due to the urgency of the situation, the Su-9 did not carry any missiles, and it did not have any machine guns. Therefore, his superiors could only command him to directly collide with U-2. But at an altitude of 20000 meters, the pilot couldn't even find where the U-2 was, and soon both sides crossed without noticing each other. Due to insufficient fuel, the pilot could only return happily.

So, what is the MiG 19 doing with the same takeoff? They were unable to reach the height of U-2, so it was just a passing game. In the end, the U-2 was successfully shot down by the Sam-2 anti-aircraft missile of the Air Defense Force. However, due to the untimely update of the identification signal, a MiG-19 that was unknown what had happened was also shot down. Fortunately, the shooting accuracy of Sam-2 was not high at this time, otherwise the other MiG-19 and Su-9 would also have been shot down.

In 1969, Su 15 served. At this point, Su 9 gradually retired. It is not very well-known, and even mentioned by people because of its resemblance to the MiG-21. Its performance is not outstanding, it's just useful. For us now, it may not be anything; But for the Soviet Union back then, she was a weapon to defend the country and fill the gap at that time.

Protecting our country and family is not a shame

@Justanormalindonesianguy2 I uploaded my work to the official website the day before yesterday, but I haven't posted it yet because I'm too lazy to write promotional materials. It seems that my laziness is really hard to change

@Robomo119E Thank you for your understanding... Because some organizations conspire to plot against the Chinese people, most Chinese people are very sensitive to information from the outside world, which led to this misunderstanding. I'm sorry, I misunderstood a good person

@Robomo119E Is the United States strong? Of course it's powerful. Does the comprehensive strength surpass China? Of course. So you have the ability to abandon global strategy, abandon your identity as a world hegemon, and fight against China to lose both sides. May Wall Street allow it? I can say these words here today not because I am so powerful, but because the country behind me is so powerful. I had no intention of provoking you, why did you come to trouble me? Why bother? Why don't we turn our swords into jade and get along friendly. What do you think?

@Robomo119E The F4 fighter jet is so outstanding, it must have been overwhelming for the Chinese J-5 fighter jet in the 1960s, right?

@Robomo119E F14 is so excellent, it must be very favored by the US Congress, right? The performance of the Comanche helicopter and the Jumwalt battleship is so excellent that they must be very popular in the United States, right

@Robomo119E As a famous stealth fighter, F22 must still be in production, right? Why is his stealth performance not as good as China's meteorological balloons? As the latest stealth fighter in the United States, the Navy must be very satisfied with the F35, right? As a new bomber, the cost of B21 must be very low, right? Must have a high payload capacity? With f22 and f35, there must be no need for f15, right?

@Robomo119E So, F14 must have shot down many planes, right? I don't understand why you are entangled with me about history, maybe it's because you don't have it. I only know that I am ready to sleep.

@JSTQ (Intercepts you with a AIM-54L Phoenix missile) THIS KITTY IS HUNGRY! (Says the F-14A Tomcat that just entered your airspace fitted with four AIM-54L Phoenix missiles, partnered with a wingman and enough fuel to stay in the air for 10 more minutes, but also has two A-6E & KA-6D, which simultaneously jams your radar and refuels the F-14s extending there air time to 1 to 2 hours)....... your move
