United nations P-67 volunteer, pink nose airmen
This is fictional but it can be real if you want: The year is 1957 and Germany and the rest of the axis powers bombed the United States and great Britain hoping to wipe us out. They did not succeed but Great Britain and the United States population dropped by 50% and most things are in ruin. We needed a fighter to keep them at bay for a while as the allies regroup, so we built the UN P-67. This fighter got a reputation for bad take offs, but it proved it self worthy enough to continue service and aid the the allies ground troops armed with deer rifles and whatever else they could find. Eventually, this plane got the nickname "Ace Maker" because it scored so many kills. A group of aces decided to make a group called the pink nose squadron, they would go on special missions deep in enemy territory and drop shrapnel on enemy ground troops. Eventually the leader got in a fistfight with a member and then he disbanded the group.
