Heavy Bomber Dominator
"It was a routine mission until my engine began to fail. So I was forced to land my Recce Pummeler on an abandoned airfield in hostile territory but near our lines. As I approached, I could see the whole place was wrecked. I didn't bother to communicate with air control; I assumed it was empty. When I landed, I opened the cockpit and the stench of charred corpses smacked me in the face. I will never forget that smell. At that moment, two Olympian officers approached my plane, white rag in hand. They said "We surrender! We surrender!" as I left my airplane. At that moment, there were more frightened men dressed as soldiers behind them. I gladly accepted their surrender, and called for the Army to occupy the area. They did so swiftly. When asked why they surrendered, the officer told me that they were just stricken by our heavy bombers two hours before I came. It was at that point when I realized just how devastating they were."
Lt. Wilkes, 5th Air Reconnaissance Wing
The Dominator Heavy Bomber is the brainchild of Linda Weiss and Mark Rick. Replacing the aged and admittedly stopgap Provider Heavy Bomber, it proved a significant upgrade to its successor.
It saw extensive service during the Second and Third Olympian War, where Dominators were frequently employed with a variety of munitions in order to break up concentrations of enemy forces. This included conventional bombs, napalm and cluster bombs. The latter of the two, while highly effective, were ethically questionable due to the grievous effects on personnel for the former and the wide proliferation of unexploded ordnance in the latter. In this way did the Dominator become a symbol of the Pilotmario Air Force's might; it became synonymous with leveling entire city blocks in a single pass.
During the Third Olympian War, they were equipped with the Mark 11 radar bombsight, capable of dropping bombs far more accurately than before in all conditions. This improved target destruction ratios, and was widely adopted. The aircraft remains in service due to this capability, which no other aircraft can offer.
Use VTOL to open bomb bay. Buttons 1-3 drop bombs from bay, buttons 4-6 drop bombs from wings, Button 7 drops fuel tanks.
