Supermarine Donnager F.1
Supermarine Donnager F.1
(Counter Terrorist Challenge)
Description
The Donnager F.1, or the first aircraft of the Donnager series, was built to be Britain's backbone light-ground attack aircraft of the early 50s. The engineers and designers behind the project were very hopefull for this aircraft to be a success, and that it was. After about 14 months of cautious design and preperation, it all lead up to this finalized creation, the Donnager F.1. After the booming success of this aircraft's performance and rapid firing 50mm cannon, every member of Supermarine knew this aircraft would last the RAF the next 3-4 decades. The design was inspired by several aircraft, the Hawker Hunter, Supermarine Swift, and the Supermarine Scimitar. And for the time being, the aircraft did excellent at destroying basic convoys and light to medium-amored ground targets. However, once the newest and baddest ground attacker, the A-10 Warthog, was released into the American air forces, the Donnager quickly lost fame and demand. Thus leading to an aircraft that had a much sooner life expectancy then originally hoped. Although the A-10 is better in almost every way, the Donnager isn't an aircraft to be looked down on. It served it's duty to the best that it could. A dream to fly, and an image of fear, and the last few seconds of mortality to its enemies.

Enjoy the Donnager. And in-case anyone is wondering, the name is derived from my favorite Science-Fiction tv show. The Expanse. And I don't expect this aircraft to win the challenge. It's pretty basic. I could've done custom missiles, but I was lazy lol. So yeah, just for fun. I'm honestly not even expecting to place 3rd. But yeah, hope you enjoy :D

Yeah I wish I put some more detail in this one though. It's a little bland. But thanks!@CRJ900Pilot

You never watched the expanse? How are you a fan lol. But yeah I see what you mean. I'll try to make my next build a but more detailed like I used to and make it pretty cool. I can't gurantee that it'll have anything more than some guns. But it'll be pretty. @ThomasRoderick

Thanks@Anthony747800
Yeah I know I sorta left it dry on this one. I got pretty unmotivated towards the end of the build and wanted to just upload it.@ThomasRoderick

Ah yes, Donnager
Cool to see another expanse fan!
Well keep in mind it won't stay at this many upvotes. It'll increase gradually. And the airplane has only been up for about 2 hours. Not a whole lot of time.@ParziParziTheVal
