I've just discovered how to make planes fly well. If you already know this, completely ignore what I have said until I start in capital letters. First you need to have the body made of fulsages. Then you need to put in all of your engines and wings. [N00B help- vertical staibalisers give you lift by making the back end go down. Without those, you will not have any controllable lift]. After this, you will need to make sure that the center of mass (CoM) is further forwards than the center of lift (CoL) by a little bit. It doesn't actually matter where the primary wings are, it will still work if the center of mass is slightly infront of the center of lift. This is were the fuselage blocks are handy as they can carry dead weight. If you build planes like that, they shouldn't be shaky.
