Germany decided to remove old fighters from the Second World War from conservation and discovered a huge number of BF-109 fighters.
The German military leadership made a strange decision: to develop on their basis a fighter with characteristics close to modern fighters. German designers even asked for help to the famous aircraft designer Kirill Lisitsyn, who developed an engine and an afterburner for this aircraft
