Saw this challenge and figured I would dig through the boneyard of forgotten projects and saw this sitting in a sad state from well before The cockpit internals update came out Originally Named the XA-1240 but it’s fundamentally a new aircraft so here is the newly upgraded/Reborn A-240A Banshie

In 2000 the United Coalition of America Decided that its Fleet of A-10 warthogs was rapidly losing it’s ability to survive in a Modern battle field against Near peer adversaries in the Current On going Conflict with The German Federation Aura Combat industries Teamed up with RyAviations Military Division to create the prototype XA-1240 Thunder III however the project was initially scrapped and shelved until 2007 where after a brutal streak of defeats resulting in the loss of over 84 A-10C aircraft The UFA department of War officially launched a Bid to replace the A-10 Series promptly sparking Halcyon Tech and RyAviation to dust off the forgotten XA-1240 renaming the project to XA-240 Banshee after upgrading dated Systems from the original prototype and incorporating new technology to improve its survivability in the modern theater with total cost of R&D through the project costing roughly $1 billion UFD they presented the new prototype to the DOW and while close it won the NGCAA(Next Gen Close Attack Aircraft ) Competition and was awarded $22.5 billion for the procurement of 450 A-240 A models with another 67.5 billion being set for a 20 year maintenance and upkeep schedule and s the aircraft has maintained a impressive K/D ratio in the 5 years it saw combat during the heat of the German federation war and 11 years it has spent fighting splinter cells of the the now fallen federation with:
-3000+ ground combatants KIA
-700 SAM systems destroyed
-1200 Light armor/transport vehicles destroyed
- 2740 enemy MBTs destroyed

Recently The UFA is planning on 2 Full Overhauls of the aircraft in 2025 possibly called the FA-240 B And the FA-240 N making it into a multi role airframe for the Airforce and Navy
