AG1 to manually launch torpedoes



First entered service in 2537, the Halcyon was mostly used in long-range missions against planetside or orbital targets. Equipped with 5 fusion torpedoes, the Halcyon was the go-to vessel for quickstrike missions where only one pass was needed to eliminate the target. While it had excellent speed, stealth tech and payload capacity, it lacked sufficient defensive countermeasures to be able to hold its own. Its poor maneuverability made it an easy target amongst air superiority fighters and flying solo in a Halcyon usually meant death to its pilot. The Halcyon became popular in 2540 after its successful mission against one of the largest lunar orbital platform, which tipped the tide of battle for the next 12 years.
