Lockheed Martin Darkstar

Auto Credit Based on XEX01Calibarn's Lockheed Martin Darkstar

Probably the last update for this plane. After several months and tons of updates, I managed to make it look quite similar to the movie and the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 versions, especially if you're inside the cockpit.

Mattflat's's original Darkstar

FIXES AND NEW FEATURES

  • revamped cockpit
  • startup sequence (check the flight manual in-game)
  • changed the Mach number display
  • added new cockpit labels
  • edited some cockpit labels
  • removed two redundant cockpit gauges
  • added new buttons and switches (APU, Batteries, Parking brake, etc.)
  • landing light is now AG6
  • drag parachute is now AG7
  • changed the position of the landing light (previously taxi lights) switch
  • added the Emergency Fuel Transfer switch in place of the landing light switch (purely cosmetic, no purpose in-game)
  • changed the scramjet afterburner colors
  • changed the scramjet input and power multipliers, scramjets can now reach Mach 10.3 – Mach 10.4 (which is the maximum speed the Darkstar reached in the movie before being destroyed, as shown on the flight control screen) when flying at 75,000 – 85,000+ feet
  • changed the color of the metallic part of the landing gears from dark gray to silver
  • landing lights located at side landing gears removed, for the Darkstar in the movie and MFS2020 only have a landing light at the front landing gear
  • I don't know how to make a custom landing gear, so I hid the landing light located in front of the front landing gear to a position where it can still provide glow even when hidden
  • red beacon light lights up when throttle is activated
  • updated the craft instructions
