Vehicle History
The production model of the F-2989 was more stable than the prototype and was capable of carrying a fair amount of firepower for its size. Originally it was meant for intercepting other aircraft but was later re-designated as a multirole due to it being capable of carrying any ordinance without a severe impact to its performance.
