HKAS-Choong K-10-J2 'Sonic Duckling'
When the top engineers first received this design project, they laughed at and refused to be in the project, leaving the young can inexperience junior engineers in charge. After the K-10-P1 and J1 became a commercial success however, the seniors watch in envy as the juniors received thousands of dollars of bonuses from the successful project. The attitude of the company also changed, relying more and more on the junior engineers. The senior engineers are feeling left out. In an effort to secure their position in the company, they took the design of the K-10-J1 and made it go fast. After numerous calculation and many sleepless nights, The K-10-J2 "Sonic Duckling" was born.
The airframe is shorten and the wings scaled back in order for the plane to achieve Mach 1 at 8000M. The trade off is that it is not maneuverable and has a very high landing speed.
Sales of the plane is not high because not everyone owns an oilfield
