A copy of our Il-28 IL-28 jet bomber imported from the Soviet Union. It was a turbojet, straight-winged, front-line bomber that was quite advanced at the time. The glass cabin at the nose is the navigator's and bomber's cockpit, providing a good view for navigation and optical bombing targeting. At that time, Harbin aircraft plant in the maintenance of the Suzhou-style bomber process, gradually accumulated considerable technical experience. The Chinese Air Force used TU-2 and IL-28 bombers for the first time in the joint campaign for the liberation of China on January 18,1955, successfully covering the landing forces, the enemy's fortification and garrison ships. This made the military aware of the importance of bombers and began to belong to the first generation of domestic bombers.
