The XB-142 “Super” Albatross is a prototype based off the D-71Z-2 Albatross developed shortly after World War Two. She was the first real post war D-71 Variant. She had new prototype Turboprop engines which made her one of the fastest D-71 Variants to ever exist. She also had her gear pushed forward to help w/ the weight of the new engine.
