P-240 Eagle M248-90
*First aircraft of the fictional WW 2-era series* Wit hthe introduction of newer and heavier tanks on the Eastern Front, and with the gorund allies facing a larger than ever number of Axis tanks than before, the United States Army Corps proposed a design that would use the M248 90mm naval cannon on an aircraft, the P-240 Eagle was introduced in 1948 and saw extensive combat tests, successfuly proving its worth and was put into mass production. The M248 90mm cannon was so powerful it could frontally penetrate the Upper Hull armor of a Tiger 2 at 1200m. The P-240 was the first aircraft able to fire APDS-FS shells from its main armament. A secondary role was given to the Eagle as a bomber-interceptor and utilised its speed and rate of climb very well. It comes with an additional armament of 2x 35nn cannons on the nose and 8x twin engine mounted 12.7 M3 cannons. It can reach well over 450mph at full thottlle at 2000 meters.
