cloudbank
Just a random aircraft I made to kill time.
Turned out to be useful as a test bed for various XML modded weapons, some of which are still attached.
It is not pretty, but it is functional and does not do anything stupid if you are not paying attention.
May have a tendency to explode when firing weapons.
Controls as per normal.
Things attached:
Ripple Fire System.
Those downward pointing rockets have been modded to fire in sequence extremely rapidly.
A set of rockets have been placed to fire horizontally that have the same rapid fire mod applied. AG2 for activation of horizontal rockets.
Smart Mini Cleavers.
Nothing special with these they just have a 360' lock ability, so you can be flying in any direction and be able to get a lock.
Miniceptors.
Small interceptor missiles. 360', short lock time, long flight time missiles.
Mini Heavy Machine Gun.
Small HM, with modded fire time.
Mini Gun.
Modded fire times, increased burst count.
Experimental Pod system.
Just messing around with finding the best way to set up a weapons 'pod' that can have at least 1 of each missile, plus guns and countermeasures. Something that can just be 'slapped on' an aircraft to give it attack/defense abilities.
AG1 to detach.

I'm constantly adding stuff (weapons) to this.
I may even re-upload a version with the new gear on it at some point.
After seeing how a version of the Arsenal Bird (version 3 I think it is) launches missiles, I'm working on a vertical launch system for miniceptors.
Finding out how many of them I can stuff into a certain area without them blowing up the plane on launch has been fun.
The smaller they get, the more fit, but past a certain point they are a pain to handle.
1/4 scale is a good size I'm finding.
Also going to look at something that will make life very interesting if I can it to work. ;)
