Indiana Jones "Pan Am Clipper"
Another one to the great Indiana jones aircraft series, the "Pan Am Clipper." You and I, as budding plane enthusiasts will of course know this is not the aircraft that would have been used as in 1936 it would have been a Martin M-130. However the production team got wind of a Short Solent that was being restored and it was subsequently used for the shots of Indy boarding his "clipper" in the Raiders movie. The Solent was not produced until after the Second World War but it makes for a nice anachronism and movie trivia! I promised myself I wouldn't do another flying boat as it's just pure admin to get them floating, taking off and flying nicely. Take off procedure; max power, full flap down (VTOL down), full trim down and keep that stick back otherwise the nose will plow the aircraft through the water and cartwheel! Once flight is achieved, neutral the flaps and trim quickly and it should be flying more or less plum! Landing requires a little practice. I found killing the speed to under 150 before landing essential to avoid said cartwheeling. Just before splash down you need to flare this crate, flap optional. AG1 for nav lights. Indiana jones will continue with his next adventure in.......

Thank you @ChiChiWerx it's probably my better flying boat in terms of lift and in-flight stability. However there's room for improvement for sure!
Cheers buddy! @GhostHTX thank you! @BaconRoll
What's not to like @Vuki11 with the trilogy! "and tanks" for the support! (Last crusade ref sorry!)
No problem ante time I'm happy to give you new bright ideas
@Tang0five
Very nice.
Easy to land provided you use full aft trim and full flaps, touchdown below 150 and keep the stick aft...nothin' to it! Nice!
Oh wait, wrong movie.
Next stop, NOT Egypt! Anywhere that doesn't have snakes
Next stop... NOT Nepal!
Why do you like indiana jones so much?
A sound suggestion @Theeagle698 I gave it some thought recently and it could dog-fight the biplane I made a while back.
Thank you @SpartanAirplanes @F4f879 and @SweptBackWing14 no idea you guys would like this - I feel it's one of my better flying boats!
