Escarti Stoneking G7
RUN TO THE HILLS
Definitely not inspired in SEPECAT Jaguar and Mirage F1!
This is definitely my best plane!
A relatively high amount of detail for the part count
And a flight model that I refined to the maximum!
History and service
The plane was an unsolicited proposal for a versatile supersonic aircraft that emerged in 1958, with thousands of ground tests to ensure the plane's reliability.
After testing, the plane made its first flight in 1965, with great potential being seen in the plane, with a big advantage being the low stall speed and high maneuverability for the size of the wings, the speed and the autonomy of the plane
After a few more prototypes flying, and a non-fatal accident due to a bird strike, it was finally accepted for service in 1970, with 500 units on order.
After some years without seeing combat, it finally saw one in the G7 variant, in 1974, the last version with analogue cockpit
It was heavily exported to other countries, with just under half of the 600 aircraft produced still being in service around the world, with constant modernization.
Reached great popularity among pilots, with almost no allied casualties. It remained in active service in its home country until 2007.
