Midway Challenge- Shipty Co. CVB-1 A Dodo
An absolute garbage use of a machine by 1942, the Dodo was a carrier borne torpedo-bomber from 1934. Despite its short takeoff and good acceleration, it lacks in offensive and defensive armament. It was also slower than the average biplane, but somewhat strong. Despite not being the same as the USN's SBD or even the TBD, use was only with Shipty Co's national home. During the Battle of Midway, the island nation was targeted by minor aircraft and naval strikes, which did put the Dodo to use until it retired later that year.
Information
This is my first heavy use of XML modding, and I'm quite proud even if the design and function is basic.
Contains Flaps and Trim, it is highly required to use trim for level flight.
AG-1 activates rear gun, which gets some stability from a gyroscope.
Armament
1x 7.62 Browning in the left engine cowl. 250 rounds with a 10 second reload
1x 7.62 Browning defensive turret. 250 rounds with 20 second reload.
