History

Izanami is the second nuclear submarine in the Izumo class, and the second nuclear submarine in the Shadow and Neorasian Navy, Izanami was built on September 29 2018, at the Mizukyoto shipyard, together with her sister, Mizukyoto.
Izanami was completed on January 1, 2021 and entered Navy service on June 7, 2021.

October 7 Tragedy

October 7th, 2021, was a dark day for the Neorasian and Shadow Navy, Because at that time there was a massive attack on the Naval Port, on the Yumemori Island.
At that time Izanami, Izumo and Mizukyoto were in the Submarine Bunker on Yumemori Island, Hearing the news of the attack on the Navy Base, the three of them immediately rushed to the port, but when they arrived the situation was very bad, All of the Shadow and Neorasia ships were sunk, leaving only the Rock Fish destroyer which suffered moderate damage.

First Patrol

On October 9 2021, Izanami carried out a patrol in the eastern sea of Yumemori Island, at that time Izanami detected an unknown fleet sailing not far from Izanami's location, Suddenly Izanami carried out an attack which caused him to be detected and almost sunk.
