Looks great, your previous Heinkel worked brilliantly. I’d love to see individually piloted Heinkels you could ‘fly-by-wire’ into targets, although that’s probably beyond the realms of SP.... @RamboJutter
@Tang0five ive been playing happy with a mobile point interceptor and carriage, see above, release in the next few days hopefully, once ive ironed out the querks.
@Tang0five lol no worries, I know the feeling about finishing stuff, I'm having a bit of a hiatus from big builds for a while as that bv took it out of me. I look forward to seeing your finished build though
Bang on! Awesome stuff, much indebted to you good Sir! Works a treat, now if I can just get round to finishing it.....
P.s I will download this as soon as I can get a minute!
Cheers buddy much appreciated! It did feel like it required the Rambo touch! Yup I detest gyros as well - I was trying to get her sitting right in the water and be able to take off and I failed on both accounts - so I turned to the dark side.....
Awesome job on your blohm Voss, can’t say I can download and drive her but then again I did test drive the smaller part count version you tagged me in! Thanks again for your help!
@Tang0five absolutely awesome man, its so much fun, another weird and wonderful british design (amazed the americans didnt nick it). Ive had a bit of a play, ive turned off collisions on your control surfaces as they where doing weird things (elevator for instance was actually moving lower rather than pitching) ive reduced movement of elevator and ailerons as they where stalling out, and ive added a step on the float and played with the bouyancy (not perfect mind), so now on takeoff it goes up onto the step then you just rotate slightly and its off (no gyro needed, i have a pet hate for those anyway). I also slightly increase the size of the elevator control surface to help when the float is down as it makes it nose heavy and put 2.5deg of incidence on the surfaces which pretty much neutral trims it at top speed =) Amazing build though, look forward to seeing the finished thing.
