Auto Credit Based on jamesPLANESii's Bush Flying Challenge (Concluded, Congrats to BogdanX for winning!)
Hello chaps!
One thing and another has kept me away from Simple Planes for a while, but I am popping back to enter this little kite into the Bush Flying Challenge.
The Ghost Dynamics GD-1 «Bush Baby»
The smallest of the Ghost Dynamics «Bush» range, she is a parasol wing, single seat STOL mail courrier.
She will get airborne before 90mph, with full flaps and slats deployed and will top 150mph, if you let her.
A detailed cockpit with animated stick and throttle are included.
Tundra wheels (most likely stolen from a tractor) are fitted as standard and a 650 hp Lycoming piston engine is also installed.
Ag1 for landing lights, ag2 for nav lights. Gear button opens the cargo hatch. Vtol doen for flaps and slats.
Happy flying!

Great one!
@GhostHTX yes, been busy. Finally retired from the AF this fall, now flying CRJ 200s for a smaller regional airliner. Between the type training and the schedule and commuting, they’re working us hard, so I don’t get many days at home and my SP time suffers as a result!
Thanks! Long time no see. @ChiChiWerx
Nice! Very stable, IMHO.
Unstable how? And yes, the wing has boyancy, in the event of inadvertent water landing, to allow safe egress. @Chancey21
its kind of unstable... and if FLOATS?
Hey! Im featured! Happy days and many thanks to all involved.
Wow, you got a featured!
Indeed old boy. King Julien is somewhat of a loon and to be avoided when drunk. Like most of us, really. @GhostHTX
Most kind of you old chap! When hedge hopping in Madagascar, one must really look out for the Lemurs, what? Vicious little blighters... @Alien
What ho! Lovely little backwoods brawler this. Wouldn't mind a real one to do some hedge-hopping in Madagascar or the like. Hope to see you back more often. Toodle pip!
@GhostHTX ok, np!
Thats very kind of you. But Im not really able to build so very often these days, havent even tried to build a whirlybird yet and am really too old/grumpy/set in my ways. Really very kind of you to offer, though. @MrAspy
@GhostHTX i would spotlight but....
