Story :

The ZNS Meckeren was a Heavy Cruiser of the Z Navy. She had 4 sister ships and was a very powerful warship. She Had 9 203mm canons as well as 12 100mm secondary guns, she was well protected against airplanes with 18 20mm canons mounted in groups of three and 12 12.7mm machine guns. She Had an important Career that started greatly in 1939 by sinking the Tedessian cruiser TRS Hidonicus, later on, she was used to defend the ZNS Praden and the Carrier group against enemy aircrafts, a mission that cost her dearly... in fact, the 3rd November 1942, She was hit by 2 bombs and 3 Torpedoes. she sank with 450 men on board. Later on, the Neckem and the Amaro were also sunk, the first one was the victim of of the Tedessian Battleship Kilcornie, and the second one was destroyed by a Submarine. The 2 remaining cruisers of the class ( Etna and Vanno ) remained in service until the end of the war and were scuttled in 1952.
