This is the bomber model of the BV-28, the BV-28B. The aircraft was developed as a light bomber after WW2. The aircraft was slowly phased out of service in till aircraft like the B-53 and F/A-18s. There is no aircraft in service at all. Civilian models and museum aircraft are still airworthy. Around 217 were created and 15 were lost in accidents and 198 were scrapped. Around 20-ish are still surviving.
