Tosa was the last battleship built by the People's Army of Neorasia in 2028 and launched on July 25, 2029, as Battleship Number-14 before finally being renamed Tosa on July 28.

Career

Fourth Neo Civil War
Tosa became involved in combat during the Battle of the Okinawa Sea. At that time, Tosa was assigned to the Vanguard Fleet alongside the battleships Owari and Kii. However, as the battle began, Tosa, Owari, and Kii were immediately met with an onslaught of hundreds of aircraft from the Mizuhara Navy. Kii and Owari were quickly sunk after being hit by dozens of torpedoes and bombs, while Tosa managed to survive by executing evasive maneuvers, despite sustaining minor bomb damage. During the battle, Tosa also engaged in a duel with the Rock Fish. Tosa succeeded only in damaging the helicopter hangar of the Rock Fish, while the Rock Fish inflicted moderate damage on Tosa.

Tosa was once again involved in combat during the Battle of the Yumemori Strait. At that time, Tosa was assigned as an escort ship for the transport fleet tasked with supplying the Neorasia ground forces, which were still occupying a quarter of Yumemori Island. However, during the mission, Tosa was attacked by a squadron of Vivi-3 strike aircraft, which managed to sink three transport ships and one destroyer. Tosa sustained heavy damage and had to return to the port of Imperial Bay City for repairs.

Towards the end of the Civil War, Tosa's repairs were never completed due to constant bombardment of the Imperial Bay Port by the Mizuhara Air Force and Navy aircraft fleet. Ultimately, after the Neorasia regime fell, Tosa remained unfinished and was captured by the Mizuhara Army along with most of her crew. It was later handed over to the Mizuhara Navy and taken to Mizukyoto. There were initial plans to convert Tosa into an aircraft carrier, but the proposal was rejected, and Tosa was eventually convert into a repair ship, and entered the Mizuhara Naval Service in 2043
