M34 LAW
Press (Brake) in order to use flip-up iron sights. A disposable, lightweight, anti-armor weapon designed to provide the average Paternian soldier a cheap, simple, and effective, 57mm rocket launcher. While the R-5 wire-guided missile had exceptional performance, it was heavy, expensive, and required a dedicated team of two to operate and maintain the weapon. The LAW, while less powerful and did not have any airburst function, it was far cheaper, lighter, and easier to use; where an R-5 operator required weeks of practice to operate effectively, the average LAW operator required a total of two hours to master it. It has a maximum effective range of 300m against stationary targets, and 175m effective range against moving targets. In practice, engagement distances occur between 150-200m, sometimes as far as 400m when taking advantage of the rocket's self-destruct feature, or as close as 50m. In this iteration, it carries a 57mm HEAT rocket capable of punching through 200mm of rolled homogenous armor.

@Pilotmario okay, makes sense. Thx.
@Pilotmario oh yah
The weapon was based on the M72, but by no means is a direct copy. It is a smaller weapon with improved accuracy and anti-armor performance. @Somberbask
Thanks! @bjac0
Made up. That's why this is a 57mm weapon, not a 66mm weapon. @Somberbask
Yeah. But this is much smaller and lighter. @TemDesBur
Noice
Kinda curious where you got your info though...?

Single use and meant for absolute emergencies for a small squad...
