This is based on the Tupolev ANT-20 Maksim Gorki which was a Soviet eight-engine aircraft, the largest in the world during the 1930s.And although this replica has a cargo hold for bombs (or whatever can fit in it) it was originally a passenger aircraft. If it had survived into the second world war it would've probably been used in the war as some point.
