The A-16C Helvetes Hök was born out of necessity in an era when the battlefield was evolving beyond the capabilities of the venerable A-10 Warthog. Developed in a unique partnership between Sweden and the United States, this carrier-capable attack aircraft was intended to bring a modern twist to close air support. Its angular design and low observable fuselage offered some stealth capabilities, though its mission required external weapons pylons that compromised its full stealth profile.

With its distinctive single-seat cockpit, V-tail, and semi-swept wings, the A-16C was a striking figure in the sky. It carried an impressive arsenal, including its signature 50mm autocannon capable of rapid, powerful shots, with only a 0.1-second delay between rounds. The aircraft was equipped with several airbrakes that allowed it to slow dramatically during gun runs, providing pilots more time to focus on precision attacks against ground targets. However, this focus on low-speed strafing also made the A-16C notoriously sluggish, and without sufficient suppression of enemy air defenses, it was often seen as a sitting duck.

Despite its advanced systems, the Helvetes Hök had serious drawbacks. It was fuel-hungry, limiting its range, which forced reliance on external fuel tanks that further degraded its stealth profile. Moreover, while it looked impressive, its rising operational costs eventually surpassed even those of the A-10 it was meant to replace. As unmanned drone technology rapidly advanced, the A-16C became an expensive relic of a bygone era, unable to compete with the cheaper, more versatile drones that dominated the skies.

In the end, the A-16C program was canceled after only one prototype was built. The prototype became a museum piece, a symbol of the last gasp of manned attack aircraft. However, rumors persist that the A-16D—a "next-generation" version of the Helvetes Hök—was secretly in development, fueled by leaks and sightings. These rumors were deliberately spread by Western intelligence agencies to rattle adversaries like Russia and China, while the true focus of military innovation shifted to projects like the Next-Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) fighter program. The A-16D was nothing more than a smokescreen, a ghost designed to distract while the real technological advancements unfolded elsewhere.

Activate-1 for airbrakes
VTOL for folding wings for space when parked
Put some external tanks if you want more time on air
Or make that infinite fuel hack by using the 20 gallon block and using XML editing changing it's fuel capacity to whatever number and how much it has and changing its mass to zero and just hide it somewhere
