This revolver was developed by MuzzleFlash Arms as a side arm. It is unique as it uses a blowback mechanism involving a slide (not animated) to bring back the hammer and load the next round, similar to many modern pistols. Yet the absurdity of the Reef Shark doesn't end there. The barrel is mounted at the six'o'clock position of the cylinder, so the bore axis is closer to the grip, reducing muzzle turn, and increasing accuracy. The gun is designed for right-handed users, as the cylinder pops out to the left side.Certain law enforcement agencies adopted the Reef Shark for their officers, but its unusual configuration requires more maintainence than nmore conventional revolvers. Nevertheless the Reef Shark has great accuracy due to its reduced muzzle turn, which attracted the attention of both officers of the law and of the military, usually adopting it alongside of standard issue arms. The Reef Shark is available to civilians too, and attracts the attention of arms collectors.
