Mil Mi-1 "Hare" AURI
Mil Mi-1
The Mil Mi-1 (USAF/DoD reporting name "Type 32", NATO reporting name "Hare") was a Soviet three- or four-seat light utility helicopter. It was the first Soviet helicopter to enter serial production. It is powered by one 575 hp Ivchenko AI-26V radial. It entered service in 1950 and was first seen on the 1951 Soviet Aviation Day, Tushino and was produced for 16 years. More than 1,000 were built in the USSR and 1,594 in Poland, as SM-1.
Service in TNI-AU/Indonesian Air Force
Since the establishment of the Air Force up to 1952, all Air Force strengths consist of Fixed Wing Aircraft types. In line with the development of international aerospace technology, and supported by Indonesia's geographical conditions, AURI requires a type of rotary wing aircraft or helicopter to cover tasks that cannot be carried out by fixed wing aircraft.
The existence of helicopter aircraft in Indonesia, began with the successful Wiweko Soepono completing a helicopter pilot school in America in 1950 with the type of Hiller-360 that began arriving in Indonesia in 1953, and Wiweko became Indonesia's first helicopter pilot. Wiweko then shared his knowledge and experience with Air Lieutenant II Joem Soemarsono. Then Joem Soemarsono with Air Lieutenant I R. Soemarsono attended the Hiller-12 B Helicopter pilot school in America. Coming home from America they transformed the knowledge gained to Soewoto Soekendar, Suti Harsono and Kusnidar. Joem Soemarsono who is also a helicopter aircraft technician is assisted by several other technicians to take care of the aircraft that are already owned, namely Hiller-360 B, Hiller-12B, Bell-47 G2 Trooper, and SM-1. A special thing in this era is that the President of Indonesia, Ir. Sukarno was the first president in the world to use a helicopter as a presidential aircraft, which was then followed by other countries in subsequent developments.
To accommodate existing helicopters, Kasau issued Decree Number 31 of 1956 concerning the formation of the Helicopter Experiment Squadron. With the increase in the number of aircraft and helicopter pilots, then Kasau issued Decree No. 93 dated June 20, 1957 about increasing the Helicopter Experiment Squadron to the Helicopter Squadron, as well as a unit under the Command of Composition Group (KGK). This squadron is located at PAU Husein Sastranegara and was inaugurated on 20 June 1957 and appointed IR Air Lieutenant. Soemarsono became Commander of the Squadron. With this status enhancement, the role of helicopters was also increased in supporting the tasks of the state, both OMP and OMSP, so that the addition of the helicopter fleet became a priority scale in developing the strength of the Air Force at that time, namely by bringing in various types of aircraft from Eastern Bloc countries, including by buying eight SM-1 helicopters from Poland, which began arriving between 1958-1959.
The arrival of SM-1 helicopters in Indonesia, also brought with him a flying instructor named Mr. Richard Widskorsky who educated and trained two Indonesian Air Force pilots namely Soewoto Soekendar and Ashadi Tjahjadi to oversee SM-1. With the increasing number of helicopters strengthening the Air Force, in 1961 the Heladron Squadron was upgraded to the 6th Heladron Helicopter with the power of SM-1 helicopters and other helicopters and 22 new Mi-4s.

@AltmzTrn_39 bang, ijin lagi hehehe, helinya mau saya pakai di kapal saya lagi, saya sudah upvote kok
@Altmztrn Tidak apa apa.
Noice Helicopter.
I had a random anxiety attack yesterday. I feel you.@Nonamepilot
A mental breakdown? I can feel u man, had those for the past week almost every day. But not anymore fortunately
I meant more because it doesn’t have manual pitch so you don’t have to worry about it hahaha
@Mustang51 simple controls… because the propeller is really vertical, not even a degree on the X or Z axis. Unlike other Heavier Helicopter which usually have a 1.5-10.5 degree
Good looking and simple to control! Nice work!
@Sultansyarif123 wah saya bukan spesialis kapal 😁
Bikin kapal juga dong tapi yg part-nya sedikit, pake xml modded
@MobileFriendly ok
EternalDarkness aja ngeupvote
@Altmztrn kalo bisa, buat juga Mil Mi-24 Hind
@ElectricVehicle Siap!
