BOEING 707
The Boeing 707 is a medium-sized, long-range, narrow-body, four-engine jet airliner developed by the American Boeing Company from 1958 to 1979. The Boeing 707 was the first Boeing jet in service. Its prototype was named 367-80, with a swept lower monoplane; the top of the swept vertical tail was equipped with an antenna, and the horizontal tail was installed at the bottom. The prototype flew for the first time on July 15, 1954. The original model was the KC-135 aerial tanker developed for the US Air Force. With the consent of the US Air Force, the company successfully developed the Boeing 707 airliner based on the KC-135 in 1957. In 1958 Delivery. The main types of Boeing 707 are 707-120, -220, -320 and -420. Boeing 707 received a total of 1010 orders, the production line was closed in 1991, and the last military version was delivered in May 1992.
