The DIXIE 410-OWL-C was a Recon/Light Bomber built during 1916-18 for the perpose of imaging enemy Ships including airships and Blimps. The Owl was fitted with 4x 125lb bombs for light bombing and one machine gun mounted above the wing for defence.The plane served to the end of the war and then was retired for civilian service.
